In the month of May, the crypto market has seen a wave of positive momentum. With notable events ranging from FTX's progress on returning customer funds from bankruptcy to optimism of  Ethereum ETF approvals. Here's a quick highlights of what went down in the world of crypto this past month:

📈 Bitcoin briefly returned to $73k sparks analysts' predictions of an 'escape velocity' phase and potential for price stability due to strong ETF inflows, however we witness a sudden sell off towards month end pushing prices back down to $68k.

🤑 Spot Ether ETFs receive SEC approval, pending final registration statements, alongside regulatory progress in the US House of Representatives. Leading to volatility in Bitcoin and Ether prices with $350M in liquidations.

🚫 Worldcoin operations in Hong Kong halted. The crypto project of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, alleged privacy violations related to iris scanning devices as regulators demand the company cease operations. 

💰 Coinbase is set to launch futures contracts for oil and gold on June 3rd, expanding its existing derivatives offerings as the exchange aims to provide users enhanced trading opportunities across traditional and crypto markets.

Web3 and AI convergence at the Hong Kong 2024 AWS Summit 

Our team attended the 2024 AWS Summit in Hong Kong, engaging with industry experts on the latest advancements in generative AI, Web3, and their convergence. We were excited to join a session featuring companies like OSL, Hashkey, and Sei Foundation, who shared insights into their digital asset developments on AWS.
